2024 update
Hi friends, I’m creating this space to write anything that I want to learn in 2024. I’ll update the progress monthly and share with you my experiences, feel free to use this space on your own, I’ll be your teammate on the self-development journey.
After 2 years not update anything on my bucket list, I’ll continue to update it weekly by the end of month:
- May 24:
- Inspired from this post, I will practice at least 30 minutes for coding and commit into my Github in 365 days.
- Tech-stack to learn: Scala
- Data Modeling to learn: follow 2 courses Data Mining and Web Data Mining during my Master’s degree

- Apr – Jul:
- Honestly, the four middle months of 2022 were a slow move in my development journey this year because I needed to deal with some unexpected events. :)) Still, after this period, I feel that my mental health tolerance is mature.
- Aug – Sep:
- I’m coming back with a lot of milestones.
- Completed Exam PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst to ensure my knowledge about Data Analyst as well as Power BI (just spent one night revising all the topics :)) )
- During these months, my company is launching a new project, namely BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later); I have a chance to work with the Big Data Platform. I’m learning and sharing with my team about Hadoop, PySpark, CRON, Impala, Hive, and how big data platform works and integrates with Oracle Data Warehouse in parallel.
- Oct:
- I’m planning to learn Data Engineering Zoomcamp on Youtube (totally free); I want to learn this because I’m currently only working with data as a data-consumer, aka end users, to build reports, dashboards, etc. I think it is not enough, I need to know the whole data science lifecycle from Data Ingestion, building ETL pipelines, Stream Data, and Store Data, so I decided to learn this course at the end of 2022.
